The album takes us back to 1980, when Stavros Xarchakos was in New York for his musical studies at the Juliard School.
The visit of his nine-year-old daughter becomes the occasion for him to explore Manhattan and turn sensory stimuli into music.
In 1982, upon his return to Athens, Pandora's Manhattan is one of the first works he composed.
